| Reality Check is a Canadian businessman living and working in the United States. He likes to call a spade, “a spade,” and is passionate about that thing called “Reality.” There’s nothing better than it, he says, except an excellent beer in hand and a steak on the barbee. | |
| Loss Leader is a Canadian businessman who lives and works in Costa Rica. “No more snow!” is his motto and he’s adopted La Pura Vida. His opinions are right of center and his thoughts on most issues are “balanced and fair”….which would be nice if it was true. Actually he’s an eccentric old man wishing the good olde days were back. | |
| Siam is a retired medical surgeon and spends his free time these days traveling around the world. He is currently involved in many writing projects and writes from sun up to sundown. | |
| Laura Lord Belle believes in the 50% shoe sale, is politically very liberal and lives by Desmond Tutu’s rule, “Love your enemy – it’ll confuse them!” . As Oscar Wilde used to say, “There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating: people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing. Laura is the first type – she’s in the know about absolutely everything. | |
| Mel, the Tech Girl, is up on the latest in technology and will travel to the ends of the earth to obtain the newest device, even if it means driving to Buffalo to take advantage of the high Canadian dollar. Her home is full of the latest gadgets, up to and including the best mango peeler in the world. Her favorite quote is “best check yourself before you wreck yourself.” Mel, the Tech Girl, loves a good book, a good movie, and the Toronto International Film Festival. | |
| As someone very wise once said: a wordsmith is like a goldsmith. Poor craftsmanship can easily be spotted, but quality craftsmanship shines. The Girl in the Black Skirt lives by that wise saying, letter to letter. Although she has mainly been a voracious reader all her life, she has finally decided to carry the same passion and devotion forward and enter the writer’s world; off-course to make it shine.
Oh and in case you’re wondering of that someone wise, well it’s none other than…some guy in a white hat. |

| Sometimes writers prefer to write anonymously for whatever reason.
Although we believe in the concept of free speech, there are many people and nations that do not. We support freedom of expression, but for those writers who do not live in a free country with the human right to express themselves, they have chosen to write under the name of Anon |

Hip hop renaissance man. Journalist. Truth speaker.
Addi became a journalist eight years ago, after his love of language and his peculiar perspective on the world and society at large made him realize that sharing thought is one of the most important responsibilities a person can have if they want to accomplish the work of an intelligent thinker with positive impact on planet earth.
