One of the nicest things about Canadian summers is the chance to spend a weekend at the cottage in cottage country.
Fresh air, slightly chilly water, barbeques, friends and family, beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages, watermelon, bikinis and bathing suits. That just about summons up a weekend at a cottage in Canada.
Not to forget that the times you spend at your summer cottage are always good times, connecting you to family and friends and the good outdoors. And there’s always a sunset or two that takes your breath away.
My son took this photo with his fancy cellphone at about 9:00 on the Lambton Shores on Lake Huron. Nice one.
