Daddy Warbucks and Heir Apparent
Tension is high in the peninsula surrounding North and South Korea because of North Korea’s recent provocation shelling the island of Yeonpyeong and killing at least four South Koreans in the process. As a natural response, the U.S. and South Korea are conducting military exercises in the peninsula which the North sees as provocation. Yes, and? There’s nothing like the pot calling the kettle black. Was it not rather recently Kim Jong-il the leader of North Korea was doing exactly the same thing? Kim Jong-il, otherwise known as Daddy North Korea was only trying to show the ropes to his youngest son Kim Jong-un, soon to be king – who looks like a fat pampered spoilt brat by the way. Yeah, North Korea has been a stirrer of trouble in recent months, me thinks. Don’t you?
China is trying to work things out between the North and South and has invited North and South Korea, the U.S., Japan and Russia to discuss the issue at hand. They are going to attempt to solve whatever problems they have at these proposed discussions. The discussions will occur in December. South Korea is kind of miffed at the current time and is not that enthusiastic about the talks. Not all the invitees are excited about the proposed talks. Let’s sulk then.
I guess North Korea is not happy at being told they have to get rid of their nuclear weapons. Sort of like being told you have to get rid of your toys when you really, really like playing with them. Why does this all sound so childish? Big boys and their war toys cause so much trouble in the world. Get over it. Go shopping or rent a movie. Have a sandwich.
Have you ever seen the Google Satellite image of North Korea at night? It’s total blackness with just a few lights on, flickering in the darkness. Lack of electricity or Google paranoia? Maybe North Korea wants to take over the world by their sheer military might as expressed in their goose-stepping parades. That didn’t really work out in times past for a particular French man and a particular German man in the last couple of centuries. Why would it work out today? Don’t think so.
