Viggo Mortensen was spotted at the 68th Annual Venice Film Festival looking something yummy. Well, what can I say but, Oh… Viggo, where ever you go, can “Viggo” together? (yes, I get it, easy one Laura.. Too easy… even for you…)
He was at the Venice Film Festival for the screening of A Dangerous Method and yes, Viggo is the Star! A Dangerous Method, directed by David Cronenberg, is the story of the Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud and the resulting birth of psychoanalysis. Viggo, dressed in fabulous Dior, looking classical in his black Dior tuxedo, a black silk bow tie adorning a white cotton shirt covering that manly body with black patent leather shoes to complete his look . Looking so Dior-like classic and elegant, but still retaining that rugged look Laura so adores! That chiseled wild face with those wild Baltic blue eyes. Whether Viggo Mortensen is dressed to the nines or looking disheveled, savage and unwashed, oh can I say, yum!
Other stars worth noting at the Venice film festival? Who popped in? Well, darlings, Madonna was there for her second film as the director of W.E., which tells the a storied of Wallis Simpson’s marriage to British King Edward that forced Edward to abdicate the throne for his love. Also seen at the Venice Film Festival was George Clooney. George Clooney was at the 68th Venice Film Festival promoting his film (he was the director/star) The Ides of March. George was solo, having recently dumped that Italian girl. I am certain he is not lonely.
Nevertheless, back to my man, Viggo Mortensen, he is such a pleasant sight for sore eyes, and the darling Viggo was off to Toronto next to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) spreading his presence around the world. And he’s a Habs fan too! Can I swoon even more? Oh the darling. Yes, can I say, Viggo, where ever you go, can “Viggo” together? Love him, forever!
Will I go see his film, A Dangerous Method? What?! are you kidding me? Is my hair black and my eyes brown? Why, yes, of course, I will be there, watching A Dangerous Method and especially Viggo Mortensen. Cannot, absolutely cannot take my eyes off of him. Maybe I’ll go to the early show and then stay for the late show. Twice in one night – now that’s a man.
