Merry Christmas to all our readers. T’is the season to be jolly , well, ideally not to jolly around the belly, and gorgeous, which of course you are, gorgeous that is, ABSolutley!!
With all those Christmas parties, office parties, festive dinners and the biggest night of the year, New Year’s Eve. Who will you kiss? Or egad! who will kiss you? No, not that person!!
It’s not hard to be jolly with all the holidays around this time of year, gatherings of friends and families and parties. The house is decorated with festive things, Christmas lights, the scent of pine from your Christmas tree fills the room if you’ve opted for a real tree. Christmas presents wrapped in the prettiest of papers if you’re not going so green this year. However, if you wrap in newspaper because it’s more environmentally friendly, then good for you! Though , really, be even more original Use old poster! Yes, your brother or sister surely has old Bobby Orr or Farrah Fawcett-Majors posters somewhere lurking in that moldy basement.
Better yet, still have your Saturday Night Fever movie poster, use it up! It is worthless, trust me!!
Gorgeous? That’s a little more work and requires a bit more shopping and time at the mall, or perhaps, doing some luxury shopping online or shopping at your local exclusive boutique.
Do not feel pressured to buy expensive or designer label. Do buy pretty, not too festive ( Green AND red WITH reindeer! Really? No!!) but do wear flattering. Yes, keep that in mind, it should be flattering to YOUR figure not Oh! I must look like Halle Berry ( Or insert whomever is your fashion girlcrush). Think that hot redhead from Mad Men. Va va voom!! Size Zero is over-rated!!
Do not over-accessorize and please, do not matchy -matchy!! unless you want to look…..OLDER!
Get your Manicures & Pedicures.
Christmas Party Dresses
Make-up. Men will notice: Red. Do red this year on your lips ( no tint lip gloss) Whatever your facial tones and eye color, there’s a red lipstick out there for you.
Blues are best for olive skin. Orange tones best for pink tones. Remember, red lipstick will make your teeth look especially white.
What’s underneath? If anything, go for gorgeous lingerie, perhaps something a little special by Victoria’s Secret? Silk, satin, lace, black, pink, daffodil yellow?
And no panty line. If you remember only one piece of advice form this article, let it be this one, NO panty line whatsoever.
Dresses, hmmmm. What to wear, what to wear?
Jewelery, Just enough sparkle. Again, put all on and then look at yourself fin the mirror and take some off, yes, now!
Stockings. Sexy, black, need I say more?
Fish-net in black is always lovely but tone it down, which means no fish-net with a lace dress. That is Gothic overkill.
Shoes. Now that’s my specialty.
Keep it super sexy but not vulgar, do not buy cheap shoes and no strappy, open-toed sandals with stockings. No, never, unless it is fishnet, then ok, sure.
Throw on a faux fur and voila!
Remember, you are gorgeous and you will shine at every party.
Best accessory: Your personality and yes, your smile. Use them both!!
You are ready for the Season and feeling drop dead gorgeous and some stockings are hung by the chimney with care.
