Santa's Helper
I was just on Ocean Park Blvd. In one direction, the snow-capped mountains; in the other, the sun setting over the Pacific Ocean. All is well on Christmas Eve.
I’m thinking of y’all. While I barbeque $140 of prime rib. Slowly. Drinkin’ a Racer 5. Life is beautiful.
Bought some firewood. It’s really cold here. Really, it gets quite cool after the fall ends.
My son is doing the carrots in his boxers. And white socks.
My teenage daughter is getting prepared to be anti-social for when our guests arrive.
My wife is getting cleaned up. She still cleans up nice for a 48-year-old woman. Whoops, I meant 47.
Tell the kids – up north – I saw Santa today. Don’t want to bust their imagination, but Santa’s not an old fat guy with a white beard….
He’s a she. Wears a red mini with a white trim and high boots. She didn’t want me to sit on her lap. Said she was on her way to the chromed pole – I think she meant the North Pole.
